@orzo pasta{6%oz}
@shrimp{6%oz}
@yellow onion{1%unit}
@garlic{2%cloves}
@italian seasoning{1%tbsp}
@chicken stock concentrate{1%tbsp}
@diced tomatoes{1%can}
@peas{1%cup}
@lemon{1%unit}
@parmesan cheese{½%cup}
@butter{4%tbsp}
@olive oil{2%tbsp}
@salt{1%tsp}
@pepper{1%tsp}

Wash and dry all produce. Halve, peel, and finely chop yellow onion. Mince garlic.

Cook aromatics: Heat a large drizzle of olive oil in a #large pot{} over medium-high heat. Add yellow onion and italian seasoning, and toss until softened ~{3%minutes}. Add garlic and cook until fragrant ~{1%minute}. Season with salt and pepper.

Add orzo, diced tomatoes, chicken stock concentrate, and 4 cups water to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook until orzo is al dente ~{12%minutes}.

While the orzo simmers, zest and halve lemon.

When orzo is al dente, stir in shrimp and peas. Cook until shrimp are opaque and cooked through and peas are bright green ~{5%minutes}.

Stir in butter and season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in lemon zest and a squeeze of lemon. Divide orzo between plates, top with parmesan cheese, and enjoy!
